The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities

Remember the Difference

Special Development Initiative

Purpose

The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities is at a critical juncture in its history. State funding has been reduced and for the first time and Academy students are having to pay a $1,500 fee to offset some of their housing costs. We are asking alumni and their parents to help “give back” and any interested persons to donate so others can profit from the unique, outstanding education a student receives at the Indiana Academy.

To secure the Academy’s future, we have undertaken a Special Development Initiative to raise at least $150,000 to:

  1. Fund college scholarships for needy Academy students;
  2. Assist low-income students who do not qualify for waivers for free and reduced lunch in paying the $1,500.00 Academy room and board fee;
  3. Assist the Academy with its general fund needs such as helping students meet the cost of field and May Term trips, college application fees, and providing needed supplies and equipment.

We are inviting you to remember the difference that attending the Indiana Academy made in your life by contributing to this special initiative. Let us join together to secure the future of the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics and Humanities.
