Art Minors

The Department of Art offers minor studies in art history and
studio art for undergraduate students. Each minor requires 24 credit hours of course work.

Studio Art
(Open only to non-majors and visual arts education majors)
The studio art minor introduces students to principles and materials used in art, along with a studio area of specialization. Students take the same design and drawing courses as majors and select several other studio courses from a specialization area. Learn more about the studio art minor.

Art History
(Open to all students)
Minors in art history take design and art survey classes and select several advanced art history courses. Learn more about the art history minor.
