We award assistantships to nearly 80 percent of our graduate students. Assistantships include a stipend, full tuition remission*, and a waiver of out-of-state fees. In return, you will assist faculty and/or teach undergraduate courses for up to 20 hours weekly (required).
To apply for an assistantship in our department, simply check the box on our application. We will notify you prior to the beginning of the term, (usually during the spring before the fall term).
For more information about costs, financial aid, and assistantships for graduate students visit Graduate School Admissions Cost and Financial Aid.
*Dedicated fees, which are subject to change, are not covered by any assistantship remission.
