There are many web-based tools where you can learn practical, innovative, and cool things. In this session, we'll show you some of these cool resources. Plus, we'll show you how to create "power searches" of the internet using Google and Boolean phrases. Participants are encouraged to bring website addresses of their favorite places to learn cool things and share with others in the session. Ready to use the internet for something more? This interactive session will encourage participants to explore a variety of web-based tools that encourage self-directed learning. Discover how tools like Google, Twitter, and yes...even YouTube, can help you develop new skills, build your Personal Learning Network and take charge of your own learning needs.
