The APFP Fitness Laboratory is separate from the student exercise facilities at BSU, providing a quiet area that is very conducive to conversation, instruction, or just a pleasant exercise session. The aerobic exercise equipment consists of treadmills, bikes, recumbent  bikes, steppers, stepmills, and Nusteps. Televisions are mounted at opposite ends of the exercise area and programs are chosen by the majority vote. Generally, news or current events are displayed.  The Fitness Lab is also wired with a  CD/radio system and music can be requested by the majority also.

Resistance Training comes in the form of machines, dumbells, or thera-bands, depending on your skill, strength, and personal preference. Each member is assigned to a graduate student as their Exercise Leader. Graduate assistants will monitor your exercise program at regular intervals, offering suggestions and guidance to make your exercise time as effective as possible.
