BSNA Minutes:
10-26-2009
Meeting Place: Woodworth
Meeting Time: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
To start the meeting we talked about the nursing Bachelor's Degree track. We suggested trying to get as many of the core classes and electives out of the way as you can so that you don't have to worry about them later when nursing school gets more difficult and time consuming. We also brought up the idea of taking classes over the summer to lighten the load of classes during the school year. We discussed the option of distance learning classes over the summer for those who go back home for summers. We opened up the meeting for questions and answered any questions anyone had about the nursing school. We talked about the application process, the individual classes, and the possible nursing electives that are available. We collected dues and discussed the BSNA t-shirts. Someone also brought up that even if you have less than 12 credit hours Dr. Dillard will write a note to your insurance company to keep you a full time student. We finished by discussing some information about the national conference in April that will be held in Orlando Florida.
