Profile
Sandra Bailey has been an instructor in the School of Nursing since January 2008 where she teaches undergraduate courses. Her main focus is women’s health and the childbearing family.
Sandra has worked in the maternal child area for almost 20 years in various capacities. She was in the U.S. Army for 11 years, has worked in Germany and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has been an Army medic, a licensed practical nurse, an RN, and is currently a certified nurse midwife. She has worked in a newborn nursery, labor and delivery, postpartum, high risk obstetrics and an out of hospital birth center. Her passion is supporting women who choose more natural childbirth alternatives.
