The first link icon in the body copy editor toolbar is for adding a link:

• to a page that is already stored in Sitecore (do not link to a Link Page)
• to a media item that may be in the media library or that you want to upload to your media library.

 1. Highlight the text you want to link.

NOTE:  Never select a blank space before or after the text.  An easy way to avoid highlighting a blank space is to:

• place your cursor to the left of the text 
• hold down the shift key
• tap your right arrow key until the last letter is highlighted
• release the shift key

2. Once the text is highlighted, Click the link icon.

3.  Choose either Content or Media tab.

3. Scroll through the list to find the item you want to link to.  (Never create a link to a link page)

4. Click the item to select it.

5. Click Link.

6. Click Accept > Save.

7. Test the link by clicking the Publish Tab.

8. Click Preview to test the link.

Ready to Publish?

• Click the Review Tab in the Ribbon.
• Click the Publish for Review icon.
