Candidates for both the Republican and Democratic parties are in Muncie today, reaching out to voters ahead of Tuesday’s election.  Democratic state treasurer candidate Pete Buttigieg spent time at the intersection of McKinley and Riverside on the Ball State University campus, handing out hot dogs and chatting with college students.  Buttigieg says even students need to vote on offices like treasurer, because state money is all of our money.

In downtown Muncie, Republican Congressman Mike Pence campaigned with Republican State Senate candidate Doug Eckerty.  The rally is part of Pence’s three-day bus tour around Indiana, endorsing GOP candidates.  Pence says the House Republicans are concerned with healthcare this election.
