July 1st saw many new Indiana laws come into effect – including one that limits teacher’s bargaining rights to just wages and benefits. Because of the law, many school districts and teachers’ unions rushed to get their union contracts signed before the end of June. StateImpact Indiana’s Ben Skirvin reports.
