A 24-year-old woman from Ohio will become the seventh fatality from the Indiana State Fair’s stage collapse. Megan Toothman’s family says the woman is brain-dead and currently on life support at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, awaiting surgery to donate her organs. Indiana authorities previously announced her death earlier today, and then corrected their report. Toothman is a cheerleading coach at Turpin High School in Cincinnati. Six others have died from injuries suffered when powerful winds toppled the state fair stage onto fans waiting for the country act Sugarland to perform on August 13th.
