Indiana’s three gubernatorial candidates will take the stage at IUPUI tonight for a series of conversations with retired Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Randall Shepard. Republican Mike Pence, Democrat John Gregg, and Libertarian Rupert Boneham will speak individually with Shepard about the state’s policy future. Topics will include education, workforce development, energy and the environment and tax policy – both at the state and local level. The event in Indianapolis is sold out, but IU’s Policy Institute will stream the event online. And IPR will broadcast those interviews on the evening of Tuesday, August 28th. In addition to this forum, the gubernatorial hopefuls will also meet for three debates in the coming months.
