Police in Henry County are looking for a man who escaped from the county jail through a hole in the jail’s roof.  According to a press release, 29-year-old David Allen Kline III was noticed missing early this morning.  Henry County officers found a hole in the roof inside another cell within the same cell block and say that is how Kline escaped.

According to The Star Press, Kline was arrested in early October for failing to show up for a court hearing.  He has a trial scheduled for next January on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and intimidation.  Kline has been convicted of several felony charges over the last decade – including felony escape in 2004.

Police describe Kline as a white male, five feet nine inches tall, about 100 pounds,  with brown hair and brown eyes.  Kline also wears glasses.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 765-529-4901.
