Local schools try to decide how to address bullying

Nationwide, 28 percent of middle-and-high-school students report that they have been bullied in school.  It’s difficult to know how many of those students are Hoosiers.  The Indiana Department of Education requires that schools have a handbook policy addressing bullying but doesn’t require that schools keep statistics on how many incidents are reported.  Anti-bullying programs are also not required.  IPR’s Cody Butler looks at how some local schools are trying to reduce instances of bullying.
