StateImpact Indiana: Fiscal Thing

Some Indiana school administrators are watching closely as Congressional leaders and the White House try to reach an agreement before a looming budget deadline.  That’s because federal dollars underwrite services for special education students.  Even if those dollars fall victim to the automatic spending cuts coming at year’s-end, the state and local districts still must fund those services somehow.  StateImpact Indiana’s Kyle Stokes visited a unique special education program north of Fort Wayne to see what services federal dollars are currently helping to fund.
