Governor Mike Pence was in Anderson today to help cut the ribbon on a new auto parts manufacturing facility in the city. Greenville Technology Incorporated – known as GTI – is a subsidiary of a Tokyo-based company that is one of Honda’s largest suppliers of plastic parts. GTI has told Anderson officials the plant will create 325 new jobs by the year 2016. Pence says he is happy to see Indiana again becoming a growing marketplace of manufacturing.
GTI officials say the injection molding and assembly plant has already made its first shipment to Honda. The 150-thousand-square foot facility is located in Anderson’s Flagship Technology Park.
