Constitution Indiana: Franklin County

Peter Sagal, the host of NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, tonight begins a motorcycle ride across the country to learn about the U.S. Constitution. Constitution USA airs on WIPB – Muncie’s PBS station – at 9 PM. Today, Indiana Public Broadcasting begins their own trip across the Hoosier State to see how constitutional issues affect us. Today, Andrea Muraskin brings us the story of Franklin County. Three weeks ago, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed a bill into law that exempts guns made in the state from federal gun laws. But Andrea found that Franklin County – population 23,000 – was way ahead of Kansas.
