StateImpact Indiana: Two Tests

State education officials still haven’t decided what academic standards the state will use next – Common Core or an Indiana-specific alternative.  Officials also haven’t decided what statewide exam will replace the ISTEP test.  If that decision does not come soon, students may have to take two state tests in 2015.  According to StateImpact Indiana’s Elle Moxley, that’s because it could take two tests to satisfy both state and federal accountability requirements.
