Debbie Webb

Underwriting Adviser

Debbie joined the IPR staff as in underwriting underwriting adviser in November 2009. Her passion for public radio was fostered as a student intern at WBST where she learned indispensable skills working first as a news assistant and later serving as an evening news anchor while pursuing a degree in broadcasting at Ball State.

A graduate of Ball State with a double major in Communications and Broadcast Journalism, she brings more than 20 years experience with a diverse marketing and advertising background. She spent 11 years as CEO of an educational non-profit organization and has enjoyed working with small business owners assisting them with branding and marketing solutions as a marketing consultant for a Central Indiana newspaper and a regional advertising agency.

An avid community volunteer, Debbie is a board member of Gallery 308, Muncie, and co-founder and co-chairman of the Andersontown Powwow and Indian Market. A member of the Anderson Rotary Club, she has served in many leadership positions at both the local and district level, including President of the Anderson Rotary Club in 2009-2010 and District Assistant Governor, 2010-2011.

She and her husband David are the proud parents of two sons, Zach and Ian. Zach is a 2008 graduate of Wabash College and a graduate student at Ball State University majoring in Urban Planning. Ian is a freshman at Wabash College.
