She’s a graphic designer, a swim coach, wife and mother who loves to read in her free time and now she is tackling the complex task of keeping things
running smoothly at IPR. Emily Kowalski is IPR’s new Office Coordinator.
Emily is a Ball State graduate who, among other things, has worked for Ball State’s School of Extended Education (formerly Continuing Education) and was
most recently employed at the classic car company Muncie Imports. There she was able to put her graphic design talents to work, advertising the company at home and abroad.
Outside of her IPR job, Emily is coaching the middle school girls’ swim team in New Castle, having previously coached at Yorktown. It’s something she
enjoys tremendously. She applied for the position at IPR, she said, when she saw the job posting online. ”I was already a listener,” she says, ”and I wondered if the experience of working at IPR would be as enjoyable as the listening experience.”
The wife of a retired police officer who is now a part-time orthopedic nurse at Ball Memorial Hospital and the mother of two daughters (one a college
graduate and the other a college student), Emily began her career with IPR in December, 2008.
