August employment report shows increased state unemployment

For the first time in six months, Indiana’s unemployment rate has surged ahead of the national rate, rising to 8.3 percent in August.  But as Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports, the state’s private sector also added jobs for the tenth consecutive month.
