Indiana’s Democratic Convention will soon move out of Indianapolis and north to Fort Wayne. This afternoon, Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry announced his city will host the 2012 convention – which is the first time the state Democrats will assemble for their June meeting outside of Indianapolis. Henry said the committee chose the Allen County city because it will be less expensive than Indianapolis. Twenty-five hundred people are expected to visit Fort Wayne for the two-day event.
