Governor Pence presents budget proposal to lawmakers

One day after being inaugurated, Governor Mike Pence’s administration has presented his budget proposal to state lawmakers.   Pence wants a one percent increase for K through 12 school funding in each of the next two years.  But as Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports, schools would have to earn the extra money in the second year.
