Indiana House committee considers Sunday alcohol sales

An Indiana House committee today heard testimony on a bill that would allow Sunday carry out sales of beer, liquor, and wine.  As IPR’s Stephanie Wiechmann reports, the practice of restricting alcohol sales statewide on Sunday is now unique to Indiana.

In Muncie, a Ball State University economist and a liquor store manager say that Sunday alcohol sales would be detrimental to local liquor stores.  IPR’s Sarah Phinney reports.
