Muncie police have made two arrests related to a pre-dawn armed robbery near the Ball State University campus and say they are actively looking for one more suspect.
Sergeant Michael Engel says police have arrested 19-year-old Jihad Rashad Foster and 18-year-old Rayveen Symone Wilson, both of Muncie. He says they are each being charged with three counts of armed robbery — which is a class B felony.
According to a Ball State University emergency notification, five victims were robbed about 1:30AM this morning near the corner of Dill and Gilbert streets. They say the suspects were three black men in black clothing with a handgun.
Engel says the third suspect is not in custody and police are still looking for him.
With visiting family and a football game on campus this weekend, University Police Chief Gene Burton suggests that students use well-traveled, well-lit pathways to get to and from campus.
