Outgoing state superintendent leave state as Common Core standards are challenged

This week, Indiana legislators will hear about a bill that would withdraw Indiana from the Common Core academic standards. Outgoing state superintendent Tony Bennett pushed for Indiana to adopt the standards. But he won’t be there this week to weigh in on the debate. As StateImpact Indiana’s Elle Moxley reports, Bennett is confident his legacy of education overhaul won’t be undone.
