Pence chooses Ellspermann as running mate

Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence announced today that Sue Ellspermann will be his running mate in the fall. Pence calls the southwest Indiana representative “the best person for the job.” Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports.
A senior level adviser to John Gregg tells the Associated Press today that Gregg will announce a running mate himself tomorrow. The adviser says the campaign plans an afternoon press conference at the Statehouse. Libertarian Rupert Boneham’s running mate, Brad Klopfenstein, was chosen at the Libertarian state convention in March.
