State education officials are making a case for expanding their powers to intervene in Indiana’s lowest performing schools. But frustrations have started to bubble over at one of the five schools where a state takeover is already underway. As StateImpact Indiana’s Kyle Stokes reports, families at Manual High School in Indianapolis say rumors are more common than solid details about the school’s future.
