Amid pressure from state lawmakers, two of Indiana’s biggest universities are trying to lower the temperature in a heated political debate over tuition. This week, Indiana University announced it would cut summer school tuition by 25 percent for in-state undergraduates at all of its statewide campuses. That follows a move by Indiana State University to roll back a planned tuition hike.
