
Each movie is less than two minutes long and walks users through some of the more common problems experienced while using their computer. More than 150 of these clips have already been created and published on the Internet, with more being developed weekly.
Laura Petty, UCS help desk coordinator, says the tutorials provide additional help to the Ball State community when the help desk is not available.
"The help desk is not always open when people need some technology assistance," Petty says. "Now because of tech clips, people are able to get support whenever they need it from wherever they are."
Tech Clips are accessible to anyone with a valid Ball State username and password. To access the tutorials, go to www.bsu.edu/techclips.
