Pulitzer Prize nominee William Souder will present "Journalism and Science: When Two Different Ways of Looking at the World Look at Each Other" at 4 p.m. April 10 in the Cooper Science Building, room 092, on the Ball State University campus.

Souder has written on a variety of subjects for some of the nation's largest newspapers and has received several national and local awards for feature writing. He is the author of two books, "A Plague of Frogs," an account of environmental degradation he first covered for The Washington Post, and "Under a Wild Sky," a biography of John James Audubon.

The event is sponsored by the Department of Biology, the Center for Medical Education, the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, the Department of Physiology and Health Science, the Department of Chemistry and the Graduate School.
