The free event is open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 on the second floor of the Art and Journalism Building. Attendees are eligible for door prizes, which include an iPod and gift certificates.

Apple Computer, Cingular Wireless, Gateway, Hewlett Packard and Verizon Wireless are just a few of the partners showcasing advanced technology in this year's TechFest, which is sponsored by University Computing Services.
UCS will announce new software titles available at reduced discounts for Ball State students, faculty and staff.
Parking is available in the Emens parking structure or the new parking garage near the intersection of McKinley and Riverside avenues.
