Faculty and administrators are once again being asked to nominate their peers for outstanding contributions to the Ball State community. The annual fall faculty meeting in Emens Auditorium is highlighted by the presentation of the awards.

Frank Sabatine, interim associate provost and dean of the School of Extended Education, encourages nominations of colleagues by their peers. 

"The goal of these awards is to recognize true excellence, dedication and performance," he said.

Tenured and tenure-track faculty members and full-time, full-year contract faculty members are eligible to be nominated for the following:

• Outstanding Creative Endeavor Award
• Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award
• Outstanding Faculty Award
• Outstanding Faculty Service Award
• Outstanding Junior Faculty Award
• Outstanding Research Award
• Outstanding Teaching Award

In addition, continuing contract administrators, including department chairs, are eligible to be nominated for the Outstanding Administrative Service Award. All nominees are evaluated by a team of their peers. Nominations must be received by Jan 19.
