Mark Miles, president and chief executive officer of Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, will be the keynote speaker for the event, which will be moderated by Gerry Dick, president of Grow Indiana Media Ventures and host of the Inside Indiana Business television program. The breakfast is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Ritz-Charles, 12156 N. Meridian St.
Barkey and Santoni will examine the challenges facing the U.S. economy as its looks for a sixth straight year of positive growth. They will discuss how the economy will have to get along without the effortless injection of cash provided by the run-up of housing prices in the first half of the decade.
The event is sponsored by Ball State, the university's Miller College of Business, Bitwise Solutions, an Indianapolis based professional services firm; and Executive Economic Exchange, a Carmel-based business research organization. The breakfast is supported by Katz, Sapper & Miller, the second largest accounting firm in Indianapolis; and Ice Miller, one of the largest law firms in Indianapolis.
