The showcase will highlight progress during the first full year of the grant and will include examples of the Digital Exchange's research with industry, such as the Middletown Media Studies. The showcase also will feature innovative projects including interactive TV interfaces, the digital house, HD movies, animation and digitally produced prototypes.
In addition, visitors can use interactive technology and view videos to learn more about projects arising from CMD institutes and other units including the News Research Institute (NRI), the Institute for Digital Entertainment and Education (IDEE), the Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts and Animation (IDIAA), the Institute for Digital Fabrication (IDF), Insight and Research, Digital Production Corps and the Office of Wireless Research and Mapping.
The showcase is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Art and Journalism Building, Studio Room.
