The Ball State Department of Telecommunications will host the Kaleidoscope Diversity Conference from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 6 in the Ball Communications Building.
Beginning at 10 a.m., telecommunications alumni and professionals will offer advice and information to prepare students for a variety of media-based jobs. Speakers will include representatives of Indianapolis television stations, VH-1, Showtime, and advertising and graphic design professionals.
From 1 to 3 p.m., students can participate in practice job interviews with professionals from the telecommunications industry.
This event is free and open to the public. Students may register at the entrance of the Ball Communications Building the day of the conference. A luncheon featuring ethnic foods will be available for $5.
