Assistant Professor of School Health Education (9/5/2008)
Position Description:

The Department of Physiology & Health Science at Ball State University is currently searching for an Assistant Professor to instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of school health education. Teaching would require an emphasis on teaching methods and materials, coordinated school health programs, methods and materials using technology, internship supervision, and the elementary school health program, as well as scholarly activity and service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in school health education/promotion or related field completed by August 21, 2009
  • Work experience in school health education
  • College or university teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • C.H.E.S. or C.H.E.S eligibilty
  • Experience using multimedia and computer applications in distance education
  • In-school health education experience
  • Classroom experience
  • have held or currently holds teaching license certification
  • additional years of successful teaching experience
