The Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio State University in Athens, OH seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in physiology. Candiates must have a Ph.D. degree, relevant postdoctoral traning, and evidence of scholarly research activity. Position Description
We seek to hire a canidate who has expertise in any area of vertebrate or invertebrate physiology and who research interests complement the current strengths within the department. Areas of significant interest include, but are not limited to, membrane, cellular and systems physiology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent, extramurally funded research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching in physiology, and mentor MS or PhD students. In addition, the preferred candidate would contribute to the climate of diversity in the College.
