Dr. Jim McKenzie has been a member of the department since 1989. He is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and a Fellow of the American Association for Health Education. His expertise is in the areas of program planning and evaluation, community health, and patient education.

Dr. McKenzie was recognized as Ball State University's Outstanding Faculty Member for the 2004-05 academic year.
