Retiree and Emeriti Membership
Verified retirees and emeriti faculty and staff and their spousesmay use many of Ball State's recreation facilities at no cost. Facilities available for use at no charge include:
- Ball Gym Fitness Room/Track
- Ball Gym Pool
- Cardinal Creek Tennis Complex
- Field Sports Building
- Lewellen Pool
- Lucina Tennis Courts
- Racquetball Courts

If you want to pay for a membership with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover), please click the register links under the membership option of your choice. If you would like to pay with cash or check then stop by the Rec Main Office during operating hours.

Single Parent = 1 adult + any child over 14 years of age
Family includes spouses, domestic partners and any children under the age of 25.
For the purposes of the SRWC fee, the summer semester is defined as the first day of summer classes until the first day of fall classes.
Emeriti and retirees can register online (Click Here). Payment choices include credit card, with payments accepted online or at the Office of Recreation Services (located just inside the Neely Ave. entrance) or by cash or check, also accepted at the Office of Recreation Services.
The verification process for a membership takes no longer than one business day.
* A confirmation email will be sent to your registration email account once payment has been received in our office (if you choose an option other than credit card).
Annual (Access to all Green & Yellow Lots)
Cost: $77 for new parking passes
Cost: $57 for a parking pass when a spouse has already purchased a parking pass on campus
How To Register: Take a copy of your membership confirmation to Parking Services. They are located in the Student Center, (Room L-1, Phone 765-285-1208). Remember to bring a photo ID, your vehicle information and registration.
Retiree and emeriti are eligible to use other options such as parking meters, daily visitor passes, pre-paid garage permits as well. Please contact parking services at 765-285-1208 for more details.
Membership Expiration Information
Memberships follow the BSU Academic Calendar and each semester purchase will expire the day before the next semester begins.If you purchase a semester or annual in the middle of the school year, your pass still expires based on the academic calendar, no prorations/refunds or credits will be given.

NOTE: BSU Alumni are only affiliated with the purchase of a Recreation Privelege Card that constitutes current membership.
