The Sport Clubs program at Ball State University is a major component of the Office of Recreation Services. Sport Clubs are recognized student organizations that exist to promote and develop interest in a particular sport or activity. These interests may be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature, and participation in sport clubs is strictly voluntary. Each club is organized and run by its student members under the supervision of the Office of Recreation Services. The emphasis of Sport Clubs is student leadership and development because of this student’s involvement in clubs enhances their university experience and contributes to their overall education.

As an office we understand that there is a consistent need to have access to funding to afford dues, travel and equipment. While our office allocates some money to clubs on a semesterly basis, it is important that clubs understand that fundraising is an important piece of the puzzle.
Our office provides many opportunities to assist with activities to raise money for their clubs. Football clean-ups, basketball clean-ups and events set-ups and tear-downs can earn your club anywhere from $100 to $250.
We offer a variety of other opportunities as well. Those could include sales for LIDS/Nike Fundraising.
There are also a number of web-based fundraising opportunities to get involved with such as:
