We're Here to Help

At Ball State University, the Ombudsperson helps students resolve concerns, problems, or conflicts with regard to University policies, procedures, and decisions.  The Ombudsperson provides a safe, confidential, and neutral place for students to come to express their concerns.  Students work with the Ombudsperson to identify steps that may be taken to achieve a timely and fair resolution to a problem.

The Ombudsperson may collaborate with others in the University community regarding student concerns.  The Ombudsperson is interested in both issue resolution and prevention.  Our office advocates for a civil, just, and diverse university learning community.
