Announcing ENG 104 Online for Fall 2007!If you would like to study with a more flexible time schedule and have the personal discipline and commitment to make it happen . . . If you have access to an Internet-connected computer whenever you need it . . . If you have successfully completed ENG 103 (or plan to this semester) . . . . . . then English 104-Internet may be right for you! These sections are official offerings of Ball State's required second level composition course taught entirely over the Internet. The only regularly-scheduled time commitment is an on-line class conference once a week for 75 minutes. If you register for one of these sections and time slots, you will be indicating that you are willing to keep that slot open for weekly meetings. Note that we will be meeting only once a week. The exact day will be determined later when students are enrolled.
*If you are confident that you are ready for on-line study, and you can keep the time slot free, go ahead and request one of the sections. Permission is no longer needed. The course will be fully revised for the Fall, so no Web site is currently available. The basic writing requirements, however, will be the same as for other 104 sections. See the Writing Program Web page for details and master syllabi on 104. If you have questions, please e-mail me at wnewbold@bsu.edu W. Webster Newbold
