The Writing Competency exam is a graduation requirement for bachelors' degrees and may be taken after completing ENG 104 and 60 - 90 credits. Students who fail the examination twice will satisfy the Writing Competency requirement by successfully completing ENG 393, but the credits in ENG 393 will not apply toward graduation requirements.
