University to launch new method of delivering internal electronic communications
Ball State is responding to students' needs with the launch of a new Communications Center – a multichannel application that will include a Web site promoting all campus goings-on, a twice-weekly e-mail digest and a subscriptions page where members of the campus community can manage the e-mail messages and RSS feeds they want to receive from Ball State. Two classes from the College of Architecture and Planning created an 18-hole miniature golf course as part of a fundraiser for Partners in Housing, a nonprofit affordable housing developer in Indianapolis. The course was used for the event, Putting for Partners, which took place Feb. 27 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and raised $20,000.
