Marching Ensemble Guru - Trombonist - Arranger - Writer - Educator

David is an outstanding musician, educator and person from Indianapolis, Indiana.  He started playing trombone at the age of 11 and has continued to play all through high school and college.  While in elementary school David got to hang out with his oldest sister where he got his first dose of drum and bugle corps.  It wasn't until the summer prior to his senior year in high school where David  marched in the Star of Indiana.  Two years later came the opportunity of a life time.  The chance to march in The Concord Blue Devils who were at the time were six time world champions.   It took a two and a half day bus ride to get California from Indianapolis.

Today David is continuing his education and his quest to educate others.  He is still performing in and around the Indianapolis area and he teaches privately along with instructing marching bands in Indiana and Ohio.  David is most recognized by his very cool demeanor and his unforgettable laugh.

David is the youngest of three children with two older sisters, Rebekah and Mary and the son of Pearl and David Grider, Sr.
