Students can choose to upgrade their Ball State e-mail accounts to take advantage of additional services in Google Apps or Microsoft Exchange Labs. The account upgrade provides a lifetime e-mail address, an expanded mailbox size of more than 5 GB, and the ability to create custom alias e-mail addresses--meaning up to three different names are sent to the same mailbox.

Protect your Identity

IMPORTANT: You will most likely receive e-mail messages throughout the year asking for your password and/or other personal information. DO NOT REPLY TO THE MESSAGE. E-mail messages requesting personal information like your bank account or social security numbers, your name and address, your passwords, or tax information are designed for one purpose—to steal your identity or empty your bank account. DO NOT share your password with any other person, including a fellow student, friend, companion, coworker, spouse, or family member. If you have shared your Ball State password, change it by logging into  password management.
