The Humane Society for Hamilton County seeks foster homes

Details: Finding enough space to accommodate the ever-growing number of unwanted animals is a daily challenge. Please consider becoming a foster parent today. A commitment of 2 to 3 weeks can save their lives.

"Time for Trees" Seeks Participants

Details: The Randolph County Extension Homemakers will be sponsoring "Time for Trees" Open House on Thursday, November 19, 2009 in Husted Hall at the Randolph County Fairgrounds. There will be a silent auction of 36-inch decorated Christmas Trees, decorated wreaths, and other holiday items. Bids will begin at 10 AM and close at 6:30 PM. The Open House will include refreshments, door prizes, and local entertainment from 3:30-6:30 PM. Randolph County groups and Service Organizations are invited to participate by donating a decorated tree, wreath or centerpiece to be auctioned off. If your group or organization would like to participate in "Time for Trees", contact the Extension Office (765-584-2271) for more details. All proceeds from this evening will be given to the Randolph County Food Pantry.

Anderson's original Live Outdoor Nativity Pageant

Details: Anderson's original Live Outdoor Nativity Pageant will be presented for the 32nd year at Maple Grove Church of God, on December 11, 12, and 13. There will be four performances each night, at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00 p.m. The church is located at 2729 East 38th Street in Anderson. The public is invited to attend this free event.
