Welcome to the all-digital world of WIPB
On February 17, 2009, WIPB ended the analog transmission of our broadcast signal. In order to receive WIPB's signal you must:
• subscribe to a cable company
or DISH Network*;
• own a newer television set with a digital tuner built in;
• or purchase a digital converter box to use with an antenna/rabbit ears and your older model TV

*Currently DISH Network is the only satellite service offering WIPB. Click here for more information
Already have your converter box
hooked up? Do you know about rescanning?
After hooking up a converter box to your TV set, or installing a new digital TV set, you will need to scan (also known as "auto-tune") for new channels to make sure you receive all of the digital stations broadcasting in your area. While some boxes do this automatically, you may need to select scan manually, depending on the type of box you purchased.
You should rescan your converter box or TV set for channels when installing equipment for the first time, after repositioning or moving an antenna around and once again after February 17, 2009. Since some digital stations are still coming on air, you may want to consider rescanning on a periodic basis to get all of the digital programming available.
YOU WILL NEED TO RESCAN AFTER FEB. 17, 2009 to receive WIPB''s signal. Call a WIPB staff member at 800-252-9472 during business hours to speak to someone who can help!

Do you know which TV stations
in your area are broadcasting in DTV?
Here's a nifty Web site that allows consumers to determine whether they can receive a station's over-the-air television signal based on your zip code. Click here to visit the site.
