About Us
The Writing Center at Ball State University is where students,
faculty, and staff turn for writing support. Since 1959, we have helped
thousands of Ball State writers through feedback sessions, workshops,
presentations, writing communities, studio space, and online resources
for writers. We're here because #bsuwrites.
Make an Appointment
We offer online and in-person appointments. To make an appointment, go to https://prodapps.bsu.edu/WCOnline and make an account. Then, you can view the schedules and available appointments for our locations.
The
Writing Center is open from May 11th – July 16th, 2026. Whenever summer
classes are in session, the Writing Center is open Monday – Thursday
from 12-8 pm. During the second summer session, our appointments are available online.

Workshops and Presentations
The Writing Center offers workshops and presentations upon request for specific classes, degree programs, resident halls, faculty members, or student groups.
